Sour Cream Cookie Dough
»1 1/2 cups sugar
»1/2 cup butter flavored shortening
»2 eggs, beaten
»1 teaspoon baking soda
»1 teaspoon baking powder
»1 cup sour cream
»1/2 teaspoon salt
»3 to 4 cups flour, (enough to roll)
»dash nutmeg, optional
Combine baking powder with flour; set aside. Mix baking soda with
sour cream and set aside. Cream shortening with sugar; add eggs
and beat until fluffy. Add flour mixture and sour cream mixture,
alternating. Chill, roll out on floured board, and cut into shapes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar before
baking, or frost when cooled.
